स्टेप 1- किलोग्राम में अपना वजन जांचें इस फॉर्मूले के अनुसार आपके पानी की आवश्यकता वज़न के आधार पर होती है। और यह बात काफ़ी सरल है – सोच कर देखिए, क्या एक 45 किलो के व्यक्ति को 85 किलो के व्यक्ति के समान पानी की आवश्यकता होगी या उस से कहीं कम? तो सबसे पहले अपना वज़न नाप लें।

स्टेप 2 – संख्या को 30 से विभाजित करें इसके बाद अपने वज़न को 30 से विभाजित करें। विभाजित करने के बाद जो जवाब आपके सामने आएगा उतने लीटर प्रतिदिन आपको पानी पीना चाहिए। जैसे अगर आपका वज़न 60 किलो है तो आपको प्रतिदिन 2 लीटर पानी पीना चाहिए और अगर आपका वज़न 80 किलो है तो आपको प्रतिदिन 2.6 लीटर (2 लीटर और 600 मिलीलीटर) पानी पीने की ज़रूरत है।

स्टेप 3 – शारीरिक गतिविधियों में अधिक पानी पियें अगर आप व्यायाम करते हैं तो ज़ाहिर है आप पसीने के ज़रिये खूब सारा पानी निकाल देते होंगे। अगर आप आधे घंटे का व्यायाम करते हैं तो 0.35 लीटर (350 मिलीलीटर) पानी को स्टेप 2 में निकाली संख्या में जोड़ लें और अगर आप एक घंटे के लिए व्यायाम करते हैं तो 0.7 लीटर (700 मिलीलीटर) पानी को और जोड़ लें। यानी, हर आधे घंटे के व्यायाम के लिए 0.35 लीटर पानी जोड़ लें।
