लिवर (Liver) :
लिवर मनुष्य के शरीर का सबसे महत्वपुर्ण अंग है और ये भोजन का पाचन करने के लिए एनजाइम स्राव करता है। एनजाइम स्राव कम होने की स्थिति मे रोगी के पाचन क्रिया मे कमी आती हे फलस्वरूप रोगी को पीलिया ,कब्ज़, मल सुखना, गंदी बदबूदार गैस निकलना, आदि बीमारिया हो जाती है। अनुसधान मे पाया गया की ये महत्वपूर्ण अंग मानव शरीर मे ली जाने वाली दवाइयों को भी जरुरत वाले स्थान तक पहुंचाता हे अत: ये किसी भी बीमारी मे किसी भी दवा के साथ लेने पर उस दवा का अच्छा परिणाम मिलता है।
लीवर का ख़राब होना हमारे स्वास्थ्य को बुरी तरह प्रभावित कर सकता है। एक तो खाना नहीं पचेगा, इससे भोजन के तत्व रस, रक्त में परिवर्तित नहीं हो पाएंगे, स्वास्थ्य लगातार गिरता जाएगा, अनमनापन बना रहेगा, किसी काम में मन नहीं लगेगा। ज़्यादा दिनों तक यदि यह स्थिति रही तो अचलस्त भी हो जाएंगे। इसके अलावा पीलिया, हेपेटाइटिस बी, सी आदि भयानक रोग जन्म ले सकते हैं। इसलिए हमेशा लीवर को ठीक रखने का उपाय करना चाहिए। लीवर भोजन पचाने के अलावा ऊर्जा को संरक्षित करता है, विषैले पदार्थों को शरीर से बाहर निकालता है, प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को मज़बूत करने के साथ ही अनेक आवश्यक रसायनों का उत्पादन करता है।
➡ लीवर ख़राब होने के कारण :
भोजन में ज़्यादा तेल, घी का प्रयोग, शराब का सेवन आदि इसके मूल कारण हैं। लेकिन ऐसा नहीं कि यदि आप शराब का सेवन नहीं करते तो आपका लीवर ख़राब नहीं हो सकता। अनियमित व दूषित खान-पान के अलावा भी कई कारण हो सकते हैं।
➡ लीवर ख़राब होने के लक्षण :
लीवर ख़राब होने से मुंह में अमोनिया ज़्यादा रिसता है, जिससे मुंह से बदबू आती है।
त्वचा क्षतिग्रस्त होने लगती है, ख़ासकर आंखों के नीचे की त्वचा सबसे पहले प्रभावित होती है। त्वचा पर थकान साफ़ नज़र आने लगती है। त्वचा का रंग उड़ जाता है और कभी-कभी सफेद धब्बे दिखाई पड़ते हैं, इन्हें लीवर स्पॉट कहा जाता है।
कभी-कभी जब लीवर पर वसा जम जाता है तो पानी भी नहीं पचता है।
मल-मूत्र में हमेशा हरापन लीवर ख़राब होने का संकेत है। यदि यह कभी-कभार हो तो समझिए लीवर ख़राब नहीं है बल्कि पानी की कमी से ऐसा हुआ।
यदि पीलिया रोग हो गया है तो इसका मतलब कि लीवर में गड़बड़ी आ गई है।
