पीरियड्स में होने वाली ब्लीडिंग को रोकने के लिए लड़कियां सेनेटरी नैपकिन्स का इस्तेमाल करती हैं। ये नैपकिन्स महिलाओं में होने वाले रक्त स्त्राव को सोखने का काम करते हैं।
बाजारों में होते हैं उपलब्ध
बाजार में कई तरह के सेनेटरी पैड्स उपलब्ध होते हैं, जो रक्त के स्त्राव के अनुसार उपयोग किये जा सकते हैं। जैसे -panty liner, ultra thin, regular, maxi, super, overnight, maternity आदि।
ऐसे करें इस्तेमाल
अगर आप दाग या लीकेज की प्रॉब्लम से बचना चाहती हैं तो सेनेटरी नैपकिन को अपनी पेंटी पर इस तरह लगाए जिससे वो अपनी वेजाइना वाले हिस्से को पूरी तरह कवर कर सके।
इस तरह लगाए
सेनेटरी नैपकिन या पैड्स के बैकसाइड से कागज को निकालें और इसे अपनी पेंटी पर रखें। इसके बाद विंग्स से रिलीज पेपर को निकालें और दोनों विंग्स को पैंटी पर चिपका कर हल्का सा रब करें।
थोंग नैपकिन्स
यदि आप थोंग (कट) अंडरवियर पहनती हैं तो हमेशा याद रखें कि पेड का पतला हिस्सा आगे की ओर जबकि चौड़ा हिस्सा पीछे की ओर रखें।
शुरुआती दिनों में अलग पैड्स
अपने हल्के और भारी दिनों के अनुसार आप अलग-अलग तरह के पैड्स का उपयोग कर सकती हैं।जैसे ज्यादा रक्त स्त्राव में अधिक मोटाई वाले पैड्स और कम रक्त स्त्राव में छोटे और हल्के पैड्स।
रात के लिए अलग पैड्स का इस्तेमाल
दिन के अलावा रात के लिए भी विशेष तरह के पैड्स उपलब्ध होते हैं। ये पीछे की ओर से लंबे और चौड़े होते हैं इसलिए जब आप रात में नींद में इधर-उधर होते हैं तो ये धब्बों से आपकी रक्षा करते हैं।
इतनी बार बदले नैपकिन्स
सामान्य तौर पर हर 4 घंटे के अंतराल में नैपकिन्स को बदला जाना चाहिए लेकिन अगर शुरुआती दिनों में आपको भारी रक्त स्त्राव हो रहा है तो 2-3 घंटो में बदलना पड़ सकता है।
हमेशा साथ रखें
सही तरीके से पैड इस्तेमाल करने का मतलब ये नहीं कि आप पूरी तरह बेपरवाह हो जाए। अपने साथ हमेशा एक-दो पैड कैरी करें ताकि जरूरत पड़ने पर काम में आ सके। आखिर ‘सावधानी में ही सुरक्षा है।’
